Relational Futurist. Civic imagination leader.
amalia deloney is a nationally recognized futures strategist with more than 25 years of experience shaping policy, philanthropy, and community-driven transformation at scale. Her career spans senior leadership roles across social change ecosystems, where she has guided multimillion-dollar investments, narrative strategies, and cross-sector collaborations advancing equity, belonging, and long-term systems change.
Grounded in human rights law, popular education and place-based systems thinking, amalia helps teams sense complexity, build alignment across difference, and move with integrity toward long-horizon goals. She is known for creating conditions where people can slow down, see patterns together, and make meaningful choices in moments of uncertainty.
Through Point A Studio, she partners with communities, governments, and mission-driven organizations to design futures worth inheriting—futures rooted in place, belonging, and collective care. Through her writing platform, Seed & Signal, she shares insights, field observations, and emerging patterns shaping the path ahead.
amalia is a 2024 Futures Fellow with the Association of Professional Futurists and has held fellowships with the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, New America, and Brazil’s Instituto de Tecnologia e Sociedade, among others.
